While you take a shower or a bath every day, you have to clean your shower and bathtub regularly to keep your shower and bathtub as well as yourself clean.

Mix 1 cup of vinegar, 1/2 cup baking soda, 1 cup ammonia, and a gallon and a half of hot water, then use a sponge to apply the mixture onto the shower walls and doors. For water stain, you can try mixing vinegar and hot water at equal portion to scrub the stain. You can increase the portion of vinegar if you want a more effective one. As the shower curtain can be made of plastic, it is not recommended to soak the curtain for too long and by using a too concentrated vinegar solution.

Put the mixture into a spray bottle and wipe clean the shower head. You can try to mix equal portion of water and vinegar first. If you find the mixture is not really effective in cleaning the water stain or soap scum, increase the portion of vinegar.

Vinegar not lonely cleans away the soap scum and water stain, it can also help sanitize the shower head.

You can also use toothpaste to brush the shower head in order to keep your shower head shiny.

If you find that the soap scum and water stains are extremely troublesome and hard to clean, it is to remind you that you should clean the shower head more often. As the accumulated stains or scum will make it even more difficult to clean! Always clean the soap scum when you first catch it and dry the water after suing the shower.
